Baxter came into the shelter and little was known about him. He showed some behaviors that concerned the staff. Eric, the enrichment developer of the shelter, decided to take Baxter for a weekend of camping and Baxter was a completely different dog! Shortly after his weekend getaway Baxter was adopted into his forever home. His new family has taken him hiking and camping and says that he is an amazing dog with a loving heart. The road has not been without some tribulation but love has conquered. We are so pleased for Baxter and so happy that he is doing so well!

They say a photo is worth a thousand words – well, we think these photos say even more! Paris, now Zoey, was recently adopted from TCRAS and her new family sent us some pictures to show us how she’s doing. Looks like one lucky pup to us!! Thank you to everyone who rescues an animal and a big thank you to everyone who shares their Happy Tails with us!

Just wanted to send a few photos and tell you all that Bonnie and Clyde (formerly Gretchen and Willie) are doing great!! They have vastly improved with their timid nature, but we are still working on socialization. They had a lot of practice this summer, especially with a lot of visitors at our house. They are fabulous dogs and they fit right in to our family. And as you can see, they are well loved, and we are in return! Thank you!!

Just an update on this sweet guy. Mackey is doing well. We have resolved his tummy issues and he has gained some weight. His fur is shiny and he gets brushed daily, he is quick to purr, and loves sleeping with my daughter. We are happy he has accepted us as his family. Thanks TCRAS for all you do!

Sia was just recently adopted and is doing well with her forever family! She was pretty scared in the shelter environment, so to see her looking comfortable and content is a beautiful thing! Thank you to everyone who opens their homes and their hearts to a new furry family member! She has stolen my heart! I love this baby girl. Thanks TCRAS
