Dog Training at TCRAS in Divide with Jill Haffley

Every Wednesday for 7 weeks * June 14 – July 26 

Beginner’s Class:

6:30 – 7:30 pm    Cost: $165   Limit: 15 dogs

  • Learn the basics: sit, heel, stay, down, come, stand.
  • Increase your understanding of why your dog is doing what he’s doing.

50% of all proceeds will be donated back to TCRAS.

Classes will be held in the parking lot of

TCRAS @ 308 Weaverville Rd in Divide.

Intermediate/Advanced Class:

7:30 – 8:15 pm   Cost: $175    Limit: 5 dogs

  • Continue learning about communicating with your dog and understanding why your dog does what he/she does. Much of this class will be done off-leash.
  • Learn: sit from a distance, sit on recall, recall behind the back, dog-to-dog and owner-to-dog promenade, walking down, and recall from a distance.

For BOTH CLASSES, you will need to bring:

  • * 6′ nylon or leather leash
  • * collar of your choosing
  • * treats (if your dog has a favorite, bring those!)

Southern Colorado Animal Coalition

SCAC (Southern Colorado Animal Coalition) is comprised of animal welfare agencies throughout the Southern Colorado Region. Member agencies work independently and collectively as advocates of animal care by coming together every other month to discuss “hot topics” in animal welfare as well as coordinate group efforts.
