Campaign Platform: I will do the best I can to let the residence of Teller County know about the mayoral campaign, and of course that Meadow would be honored to be the Mayor of Divide. History/Biography: My name is Meadow. I am four years old and I am an American Bulldog/Boxer mix. My person, Barbara, says I am a Bulloxer. I was found at an animal shelter in Sylacauga, Alabama in December of 2018. The person in charge of the shelter, said I was left in the parking lot with four older puppies. My memory might be confused, but I could have been a mill dog mamma, as my body tells I had more than one litter of pups. But when I came to TCRAS in February of this year, the veterinarian took care of that – no more pups. Barbara, adopted me from TCRAS on February 26, 2019. I was very happy to go home with her, in spite of the people at the shelter being very nice to me. During one of my checkups, the veterinarian noticed I had an enlarged heart and something was going on with my stomach. We had an echocardiogram done. It seems I am okay because I am not on medication, but do eat special dog food. What I appreciated about the procedure, though, both rescues got involved and took care of the expense. That was a load off of Barbara’s back. At home, I have a Min Pin for a playmate and Barbara just brought a kitten into the house from TCRAS. Everything is a bit chaotic, but all is well. I am having a blast running for Mayor of Divide because I am a people pooch, and I want to let you know how grateful I am for your help to TCRAS. Fave Activities: My favorite activities are playing with my kitten, Atlantis, and my puppy, Skeeter. They are both lots of fun. I play pretty rough with the kitten, but he seems to enjoy batting me around too. Life is good. Other things you might like to know: I love squeaky toys. My favorite is a rubber chicken that squawks when I bite it. I don’t think my person likes it very much because when I make It talk, she jumps. I chew on the kitten, Atlantis and he actually likes it! I am a lover at heart, especially when you pet me and I look into your eyes. You can’t help yourself but love me back. I used to volunteer at Daybreak. The people there loved to play with me. They used to laugh when I was playing with the toys. |
