Campaign Platform: As Mayor of Divide, I pledge to serve as an ambassador for my less fortunate brothers and sisters who are seeking a new start at Teller County Regional Animal Shelter. My own kitty, Tabitha, was adopted from TCRAS and I love her very much. History/Biography: I am a Colorado native, born in Golden, CO. My birth mother's name is Riggi, and my daddy Slugger, a 130 lb. gentle giant, lives right here in Teller County! I get to see my relatives all the time because we are a very tight family. I am a one year old Greater Swiss Mountain Dog. You don't see my kind around very often, but thanks to some responsible and caring fans of my breed, we are recovering from near-extinction. This is great news, because Swissies are fantastic! Fave Activities: Hobbies: Dog shows! Me and my human girl love to compete in dog shows. We make a great team and are getting close to earning our championship. Other things you might like to know: Favorite food: Baked goods. I try to always have good manners, but when it comes to baked goods, sometimes I lose control. On occasion, I have helped myself to entire platters of things that were not meant for me. Including my human girl's birthday cake. (Totally worth it.) Nemesis: Dallas Alice, my mom's Roomba. She is the absolute worst. And she pushes my toys under the couch. Career: I am a full-time staff member at Community Partnership Family Resource Center. My main duty is greeting children and families who come to the center and I make it feel welcoming and homey for them. My teammates are also very dependent upon me for calming moments to help them get through their work day. |
