Campaign Platform: This young lady wants to remind every one that every animal is a unique individual that deserves a life to enjoy! History/Biography: Scarlett named after Gone With The Wind. Her name matches her long red hair. She does have a forever mate and of course his name is Rhett. Fave Activities: Just like her name sake she is very feisty when telling her mate how to behave. Scarlett is independent by nature and loves to play and pounce at the hands wiggling under her blanket. Other things you might like to know: Fox can sound like cats when they squabble. Sometimes, people think there are cats fighting at night, when they actually have foxes running around. The noise they can make is called a Vixen’s Scream. Fox smell like a skunk especially in spring and summer, so people mistake the odor when in fact it is her perfume. |

ABOUT THE SPONSOR:
Our Mission in Action The Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center is one of very few sanctuaries in the United States which has been certified by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). With this title we are able to go beyond education and into application. CWWC actively participates in the Species Survival Program by providing a home to Mexican Grey Wolves and Swift Foxes. We also practice conservation in the sanctuary’s daily life by using environmentally friendly ink, biodegradable trash bags, participating in recycling programs, and “adopting” Twin Rocks Road to keep it trash free.
