Animals looking for a new home

We want to keep animals out of the shelter and into homes. The animals listed below are being rehomed, and we want to help them find new homes rather than come into TCRAS. If you see an animal you want to know more about, use the contact information below the picture.

These animals are NOT in the shelter. TCRAS is not responsible for any rehoming or adoptions of animals listed below.

Uki

I am Uki, a 6-year-old neutered Australian cattle dog who is housebroken, crate-trained, active, and ready for a home that loves the outdoors as much as I do. I enjoy walks, runs, and chasing toys, but am happy lounging quietly after a good day of exercising. I am a smart, loyal, protective, and energetic dog who thrives on one-on-one attention. I love my family and form strong bonds, and with a little continued training, I’ll be an incredible companion. I seem to bond more quickly with women, but have adjusted quickly to men. I love to chase toys, but bringing them back is a work in progress. I usually come when called, but if something catches my attention, I may need extra focus and reinforcement. I have strong instincts and curiosity, so a secure 6ft plus fence or supervised outdoor time is important. I can get bored and chew through thin or cloth toys, so more durable toys work best for me. I am generally quiet, but will alert if something catches my attention. If you are looking for a smart, energetic, protective dog to share your life adventures, I’d love to meet you.

Zeppelin

Hi. My friends call me Zep. I am a 5yr old neutered housebroken Australian cattle dog with lots of energy and love to share. I come when called, love being around people, and my absolutely favorite thing is playing…I could chase and fetch toys all day!  I am currently working with my foster family to get into better shape, so daily walks/runs and play is helping me to slim down and feel great. I would do best with an active home that enjoys getting outside and keeping me moving. I am very affectionate and love attention. I have had 1 seizure recently with my foster family and one back in 2024, but my doctor says there was no known cause for it and just to watch me. I was back to normal quickly. I get along with other dogs, but can be a little enthusiastic and bump them or people when seeking attention. I am crate trained and will happily sleep there at night and for naps. I am a strong chewer so thin plastic or cloth toys beware; more durable toys are better for me. I don’t bark much, but will join in if other dogs are talking. I need a home that will continue helping me with exercise,  structure, and good manners. In return, I will give you loyalty, fun, and a load of love.

He is known to have a history of seizures. Up to date on vaccinations
