Volunteer of the Month
Will J.
Will has been a dedicated volunteer since 2020 and has made a lasting impact since day one. Will jumps at the opportunity to go to adoption fairs, deliver supplies to different areas of Teller County, and help with all of the odds and ends projects we come up with, both at the shelter and the CARE House.
We are so thankful for a volunteer like Will, who is not only dependable but also exhibits a gentle and warm personality towards our animals.
Thank you Will!!

How to Get Started
1. Fill out the volunteer application to let us know you are interested in becoming a volunteer.
2. Attend a New Volunteer Orientation. Our Volunteer Coordinator will reach out and let you know when the next available orientation will be.
3. Come into the shelter and get some one-on-one time to become comfortable with working in your area or event.
Our next volunteer orientation is on March 21st at 10:00 am at the TCRAS CARE House.

Become a Foster
Fostering animals allows that animal to grow in a home before they find their forever home. TCRAS will give foster homes the supplies they need, we just ask you to love and care for them. When an animal is in a foster home, it helps them have the hope for a new beginning, and allows other animals in need to have hope as well.

Volunteer at TCRAS
Calling all animal lovers!
Here at TCRAS we have 100+ active volunteers and are always looking for people to add to our community. We have many different ways you can volunteer to help us continue our mission, Fostering Hope and New Beginnings. We could not support the 1,000 animals that come through our doors each year without our volunteers and we are so excited you are interested in volunteering with us.
