Dennis Y
Dennis has been volunteering with TCRAS since June of 2025, and from day one, he has brightened our lives and the lives of the animals with his amazing smile every time he is around. Dennis brings his creative side to events by helping us decorate and making sure we aren't forgetting any small details. With his creative side, he also brings a technological skill set that is always needed when working at events. The time and dedication Dennis has brought to TCRAS is invaluable, and we are so lucky to have him as a volunteer.

How to Get Started
1. Fill out the volunteer application to let us know you are interested in becoming a volunteer.
2. Attend a New Volunteer Orientation. Our Volunteer Coordinator will reach out and let you know when the next available orientation will be.
3. Come into the shelter and get some one-on-one time to become comfortable with working in your area or event.
Our next volunteer orientation is on May 9th at 10:00 am at the TCRAS CARE House.
Become a Foster
Fostering animals allows that animal to grow in a home before they find their forever home. TCRAS will give foster homes the supplies they need, we just ask you to love and care for them. When an animal is in a foster home, it helps them have the hope for a new beginning, and allows other animals in need to have hope as well.

Here at TCRAS we have 100+ active volunteers and are always looking for people to add to our community. We have many different ways you can volunteer to help us continue our mission, Fostering Hope and New Beginnings. We could not support the 1,000 animals that come through our doors each year without our volunteers and we are so excited you are interested in volunteering with us.
