Board President
Steve Arthur, Board President. Steve brings over 30 years of public policy experience to TCRAS. He is a vice president at Stateside Associates, a full-service state and local government relations firm based in the Washington, DC area. Steve directs Stateside’s Attorneys General practice and co-leads its Governors practice. In this role, he helps clients build relationships with state officials across the country and develops strategies for Stateside clients to educate state officials on their business interests in public policy issues.
Steve has served on numerous state trade association boards of directors and was an executive at a national trade association. He plans to use those experiences on the TCRAS Board of Directors to continue strengthening the important work TCRAS does for animals in the Pikes Peak region.
Steve has adopted over a dozen shelter and rescue pets, while also volunteering at shelters in communities across the country. While Steve has lived in all four continental U.S. time zones, his Pikes Peak family roots are deep. His great-grandfather moved to Cripple Creek in 1883 and eventually served as Mayor, and his grandfather was born there at the turn of the 20th century.
