Sue Battig
Treasurer
Sue moved to Teller County in 2008, after spending the previous 28 years in Princeton, NJ. A 1975 graduate of Air Academy H.S., she moved to Colorado in the early 70’s when her father transferred and retired from the Air Force. Sue has a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from Texas Tech University and an M.B.A. from Rutgers University. Her entire career has been spent working in the information technology arena.
She has worked for IBM (developer, IT manager, and marketing rep), Dow Jones (project manager), and Verizon (senior business analyst/project manager). Currently employed by Wells Fargo as an eBusiness Systems Consultant, Sue is a certified Project Management Professional. She brings both information technology and project management skills to the TCRAS Board.
An avid beagle lover, Sue (with her husband Tony) cares for a plethora of beagles. They adopt and foster, with an emphasis on rescuing senior beagles that have been abandoned and forgotten in their golden years. As a volunteer at TCRAS, Sue leads the off-site adoption fairs and participates as a committee member for fundraising events. In her spare time, she does home checks in Teller County for Colorado Beagle Rescue and spends her Friday nights at National Mill Dog Rescue, giving medications and providing dog care.
